Aussie Curves - BLUE

I'm blue, laadi di laadi da di di...

I don't give blue enough credit. I have never thought I was much of a blue wearer until recently.
So when I checked my wardrobe I was surprised to discover that I had a couple of options.
My heart said my blue sailor dress but the weather said something a little more practical.

The thing I love most about blue is being able to mix it with some complimentary colours like RED.

This is especially fun when it comes to colour blocking and tights.

So lets jump straight into it.

This week my outfit is practical, pretty cost effective and down right comfy.

My dress was a bargain from Best and Less.

With the introduction of the brand Lilly and Lou, Best and Less have really come leaps and bounds with their plus sizes. They offer a great range which competes with some of the more expensive bigger women's clothing boutiques. This sassy little dress only cost me $35, when an equivalent skater dress would cost around $80 at other places. They have a range of colours including a leopard print that I couldn't resist picking up for $40.

I put on my favourite pair of we love colours red tights and my black leather boots from Iboman Australia on Bridge Rd in Richmond. A massive shout out to Iboman. I bought another pair of shoes from there and when they had a fault they went above and beyond to get them fixed for me.

In hindsight I might have added some chunky beads but I lack confidence when it comes to accessories.  I would love suggestions on accessorising this outfit in the comments...

  1. Looks great! Blue is great colour for you and I love it with the tights. :)

I've found some great stuff via the Lily & Lou range. I went in today and was disappointed that there is nothing as great in the new stuff as there was in the release with the likes of this dress.
